Welcome to Building Blocks Occupational Therapy

Building Blocks Occupational Therapy is an independent Occupational Therapy Practice that has a special interest in early intervention, paediatrics and adolescents, offering Ayres Sensory Integration®, DIRFloortime®, Tomatis Method ®, and Interactive Metronome®.

We aim to develop the foundational building blocks in order for children and adolescents to be able to grow and engage optimally in their home, school and social environments. Every child & adolescent is unique and has potential. We are dedicated to building strong therapeutic relationships while journeying with you and your child, and to equipping them with the necessary tools to thrive. We may work with Schools, Teachers and other Health Professionals during this journey.

As a paediatrian as well as a mother I have a firm belief in the benefits of Occapational Therapy. Kris-Ann is an amazing OT, one of the best. My son loves to go and the changes in his behaviour and concentration are remarkable. I gladly recommend patients to Kris-Ann as I know the care and therapy they receive is superb. She is warm-hearted, caring, buying and investing into each patient, going out of her way and knowledgeable. She reads and understands her little patients so well, she works with them and guides them in such a gentle way to get the results she is after. All feels like play, but with all the benefits of treatment.
